What are the Options for Rostering Students and Teachers?

For customers using one of our products on the Activate Learning Digital Platform (ALDP), we have 4 different ways to handle rostering.

Digital Integration (Sync)

This method connects our system to your district's existing Learning Management System (LMS). Our LMS integrations include:

  • Google Classroom
  • Canvas
  • Schoology
  • Classlink


If your district uses Clever already (or are willing to), we have an integration that syncs rosters on a nightly basis.

CSV Data File

If you prefer to roster using a CSV data file, we have two flavors:

  • SFTP: We'll set you up with and SFTP account where your data file is to be uploaded. Districts using this method will typically automate the process on their end to create and upload their data file on a nightly basis.
  • Manual Upload: We'll provide you with an account where you can manually upload your data to a secure folder. From there, we'll process your file and notify you when it's done.

Manual Rostering

This method is best for districts with a small number of users to manage. We'll provide you with a District Manager account and instructions that will all you to roster students and teachers using a simple interface.
